Win-Dev

I'm speaking at Win-Dev in Boston this year, and will be giving the following three talks on the CLR track:

C11 - Assembly Deployment
You've written your code and now you want to send it out to the world. What's the best way to distribute your code? What happens when you want to ship a new version? This talk covers deployment issues surrounding signing and versioning code and examines deployment techniques including "Zero Deployment" and security issues.

C12 - Alternative Managed Platforms
.NET may have started its life on Windows but today runs on everything from OS X to Linux to PocketPC. This talk compares and contrasts the various platforms available and examines what developers should do in order to write managed code that is truly portable.

C15 - Alternative Managed Languages
C#, C++, VB.NET - is that all there is? This talk looks at the current crop of languages targeting .NET and discusses the issues in porting a language to the .NET runtime.

This is actually the first time I will speak at Win-Dev though I've hung around a few of them. The technical talks are always a lot of fun but there are usually some pretty insane parties too.  I'm not sure which will be more fun...  Hope to see you all there!
